If the answer to both questions is yes, then it’s time to do something about it. Here are four easy steps to follow to get your eyewear back into shape. Preparation tools
Some of these tools are essential and needed, but others might be considered optional. Eyeglass repair kits vary depending on the method that you choose to use. There is a wide variety in the price range, so it’s possible for one kit to cost several hundred dollars while another may come with just three basic tools designed for simple minor repairs such as broken eyewear wire or lenses without a case. Either way finding quality toolsets or equipment will ensure that you end up with lasting results and good customer service.
Eyeglass Repair Process:
- Replace the damaged eyeglass lens with a new one. Just ensure that a small one or two drops are used by anyons you have access to since it’s important that these are not accidentally leaked onto your eyeglasses; wipe off glints using cellular lint remover.
If you have a pair of glasses that are damaged and you don’t want to throw them away, you can keep them in a drawer for the time being. This will prevent the damage from worsening and allow you to sell or donate them later if necessary.
